We place the crystals in two moments of the processing of our wine, first during fermentation and then during refinement. At the beginning during the pumping over we dynamize the wine only during a waxing moon and on Flower and Fruit days of the Biodynamic calendar. The waxing moon makes the wine sensitive, attractive, magnetic; the Flower and Fruit days instead represent the moments of maximum organoleptic and olfactory expression of the wine, so if the right crystal is chosen and placed in the wine, it blocks the memory of the wine at that moment, so that the wine then remains in its maximum vitality over time. In order for this memory to remain active in the wine for its entire life, the wine is then dynamized in the refinement for at least six complete lunar cycles and so the magic begins. When the moon, perfect days, crystals and wine merge, then the synergy manifests itself in a reciprocal exchange between the elements, so that the final result is a natural, genuine wine, free of chemicals and true. A wine that with every taste leaves emotions of life and generosity.
Luteraia Nobile di Montepulciano is the product that best represents the Montepulciano area. A union between land and nature, which finds expression in an ancient wine, born 500 years ago. The first DOCG in Italy. Once upon a time, Nobile di Montepulciano was made by combining Prugnolo Gentile with Caiaolo, Mammolo and Malvasia bianca, and so, 500 years later, we make it the same way.
Luteraia with its colors, sometimes ruby, sometimes purple or garnet, ferments in steel and then matures in prestigious French oak tonneaux for at least a year, so as to make the wine harmonious, structured and expertly full-bodied. The refinement in the bottle for at least three years is the most important part, in which Luteraia rests and harmonizes so as to generate the best bouquets. Luteraia warms the hearts of connoisseurs by making you feel the terroir of Montepulciano in its body.
The wine that represents the company, the Luteraia, the wine made in the “cooper” soil, that is, rich in sulfur and minerals that remind us of the remote volcanic past of our area. A wine that every year tells the story of the vintage, a wine that in every bottle tells the story of our family, a daily and concrete commitment to safeguarding our traditions.
